Day 1

Masai Mara

Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer to Best Western Meridian Hotel for overnight stay in readiness for your Kenya and Tanzania Wildebeest calving safari the following morning

Day 2

Masai Mara

At the start of our Kenya and Tanzania wildebeest calving safari your tour guide will pick you up from Best Western Meridian hotel at 0730 hrs, a safari briefing session with our Tour officer then drive drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch then proceed for evening game drives. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 3

Masai Mara

We will spend the day exploring the Masai Mara, with its abundance of large mammals and diverse birdlife. We have the option to either have full and complete days out in the field when both breakfast and lunch can be served out on the savannah or we can return to camp for lunch. Big cats are a very prominent feature of the Masai Mara and also include Cheetahs and Leopards, both of which are fairly straightforward to find here.

Serengeti

Day 6

Serengeti

Enter Serengeti via Ndabaka gate for a full day game drives, we drive south and west to the western corridor of the great Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch .dinner and overnight stay

Serengeti

After the breakfast check out of the camp and drive to Ndutu Katikati Camp where you will spend the day exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives ate offered. During the months December through March the seemingly unending plains of the southern Serengeti and the Conservation Area are inhabited by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Day 8

Serengeti

The next day will be spent exploring the grassy plains and woodlands in the area, tracking the massed herds of wildebeest and zebra, witnessing the birth of new calves and trailing predators such as lion, cheetah and hyena on the hunt. The area also teems with other wildlife, including elephants, eland, various gazelle species, Kirk’s dik-dik, giraffe and the elusive leopard.

Ngorongoro Crater

We enjoy an early breakfast then check out of the camp and our Kenya and Tanzania wildebeest calving safari proceeds south and descend into the crater for a full day Ngorongoro crater tour with packed lunches.

Lake Manyara

Depart Ngorongoro soon after breakfast then proceed to Lake Manyara National park for a full days game drives with packed lunch – exit the park and proceed to Lodge for dinner and overnight stay Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views.

Day 11

Breakfast then depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time board an afternoon shuttle bus to Nairobi departing at 1400hrs to arrive at 1800 hrs. Drop off at the airport for your flight back home, this is the end of a memorable Kenya and Tanzania Wildebeest calving safari
