We invite you to enjoy a cost effective safari where you will spend 3 nights in the bush in the Timbavati Wildlife Reserve which has no fences with Kruger National Park and is a Big Five reserve. This reserve has rare white lions. As an added bonus you can also enjoy a half day Panorama tour following the safari and then stay overnight in a fantastic boutique style hotel in the quaint town of Hazyview. Both properties are great for families.

Itinerary

Day 1

Kruger

Day 1-3 From Hoedspruit Airport have a transfer with your driver to Timbavati Nature Reserve to your lodge called Simbavati River Lodge. The airport is close to the town of Hoedspruit which is one of the gateway's to many game reserves. Simbavati is part of the Greater Kruger Park and is game rich. Upon check in you will go to your luxury tent. Families will be a family chalet where you can enjoy nature with the family. This is an authentic and affordable safari, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and are dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. Children of all ages are welcome and there is babysitting. They offer kiddies game drives, decorating and baking for children, scrap booking, during lunch they can make their own pizzas and a children 4-12 receive a welcome pack (which supports a community project). We highly recommend you book some Spa treatments at the Spa. During your stay you will have morning and afternoon game drives daily in an open landrover 4 x 4, plus a sundowner drink.

Day 4

Day 4 After your morning game drive and breakfast, you will take a transfer to the nearby town of Hazyview where your will be collected for a half day Panorama Tour, this is a must tour in the area as it is well-known for its breathtaking beauty and rich culture where you will see lots of landmarks and much more including the town of Graskop. After the tour the driver will drop you off at your hotel for the night called Casterbridge Hollow which is one of the first 'green' hotels in the area hence we have included it as it respects the greater environment, plus it is on the original Casterbridge farm set amongst lots of trees. When it comes to accommodation in the area, this property stands outs and has family rooms. You will have dinner at the hotel restaurant called Magnolia Restaurant which has a country setting.

Day 5

Day 5 After breakfast in the Magnolia Restaurant with it's country setting, your Jumbari representative will collect you and you will have a short transfer to the airport in Nelspruit for your onward journey.
