Arusha | Kilimanjaro

Day 1 Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be welcomed by a Jumbari Family Safaris representative ready to accompany you to Arusha Coffee LOdge located in central Arusha, a mere 1.5 hours drive away. Your base for the next night, for the start of your family safari. Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, thats where you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any East African safari. The homely feel of the Lodge is by no means accidental as the origins of the homestead continue to emit glimpses of times-gone-by, also a certified property of responsible tourism.

Serengeti

Day 4-6 This morning you will wake up and enjoy you final breakfast at The Manor before being transferred to the Serengeti National Park. As you make your way through the Serengeti National Park, to your next location, enjoying yet another prearranged scenic game drive, with a packed lunch. The next stop on your family safari is Serengeti Pioneer Camp, here you will spend 3 nights enjoying morning and afternoon game drives though the Serengeti National Park. Located in South Central Serengeti - Tanzania - (within the Moru Kopjes area), Serengeti Pioneer Camp is ideally situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the ‘Big 5’ with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains. Whilst at Serengeti Pioneer Camp, enjoy day long game drives, with bush picnics, sundowners, camp-fire dining and much more.

Day 10 Today marks the end of your family trip. After a final breakfast at Gold Zanzibar, your driver will meet you to transfer you to the airport for your onward journey home.
