Itinerary
Day 1
Lake Mburo
Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, visit the Equator You will be picked from your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala by our driver guide at 7:30am. Meet and greet your guide then start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. On your way to the Park, you will make a stop over at the equator for water experiment. And at this point, there are two cement circles marking the equator line and it is worth stopping if you are traveling to Masaka or Kampala for a photo moment. Also watch a demonstration by local entrepreneur on how water swirls in opposite directions in the northern & southern hemispheres at the equator line. Another reason that makes the equator a worthwhile stop are the great shopping bargains. The point has got several craft shops and art galleries run by individuals and organizations. These craft stalls sell souvenirs and handmade products while some with marks talking about the Equator. It will not be inconveniencing if you bought a T-shirt with words ‘I crossed the Uganda Equator’ Continue with your journey and have lunch at the Lodge. After lunch, you will do an afternoon game drive. Lake Mburo National Park accommodates mammals like the Eland, antelope as well as zebras and water bucks, making it among the most admirable places to visit in Uganda. The park is exceptional for its attractive, soothingly sloping hills and open grassland basins, intermingled with brushwood, woodlands and rich wetlands. While at the park you will see animals like the impalas, water-bucks, the Cape buffalo and zebras plus many other animal species. Over night at Eagles Nest
Day 2
Queen Elizabeth
Day 2: Morning Game Viewing & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park After your breakfast, you will do a morning safari where you will have a chance to catch up with the early risers that you happened to miss on your afternoon game drive. Have Lunch en route and proceed to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Park covers an area of about 1978 km2; its position provides a magnificent view of the rift valley floor that occupies Lake Edward and Gorge. The park has one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any national park in the world as its well known to be habitat of about 95 mammals along with 612 species of birds. On arrival, you will do a short game drive. You will search for all the wildlife in the park; Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Water buck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, Warthog, etc. You will relax at the lodge on your arrival. Over night at Bush Lodge
Day 3
Day 3: Safari Game Viewing & Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel After Breakfast, you will go for a game drive. You will search for all the wildlife in the park; Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Water buck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, Warthog, etc. After lunch go for an afternoon launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. Here, you will see a lot of hippos more than you can possibly imagine! as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see: Buffalo, Crocodile, bathing Elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat-safari you drive back to the lodge.
Day 4
Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala through Fort Portal. You could have a market/Street walk through Fort portal and maybe buy some souvenirs for yourselves. Thereafter proceed with your journey. Your driver will drop you at your accommodation either in Kampala or Entebbe as you may wish. This will be the end of your amazing trip!
