We will take the scenic route to the Serengeti passing along the rim of the Ngorongoro crater. Serengeti is of the seven natural wonders of Africa, it also features spectacular river crossing and is home to all the big predators. You have the opportunity to marvel at the view whilst enjoying an appetizing picnic lunch on a kopje [small hill in a generally flatter area]. We will resume our journey and progress further into the Serengeti for a game drive. Dinner and overnight as per standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Lunch will be served in the park before we proceed to the Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater has a diverse ecological system that includes lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, zebra, wildebeest, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and antelopes. There are migrant birds from Eurasia and African birds such as vultures, storks and flamingos. Majority of the plantation can be described as luscious and green but there are species of desert plants. The probability of what species you are likely to see all depends on the time of year and the migration of the herds. Dinner and overnight as per standard and type of accommodation option requested.
Day 4
Day 4: Ngorongoro crater to Moshi We will have early departure from camp to ensure that we will arrive at the Ngorongoro crater promptly. We will descend into the crater as our game drive with a picnic lunch is inside the crater. The Ngorongoro crater is an immense, unbroken caldera that was formed when a volcano erupted millions of years ago. The elevated structure encourages the animals subside within the crater which means there is a high possibility of spotting every member of the `the big 5’. The powerful group comprises of buffalo, lions, rhinos, elephant and leopards. You can expect to see other wildlife including zebra, hippos, wildebeest and hyenas. The flamingos will lounge gracefully on the banks of the soda lake whilst the vultures can be found scavenging for the discarded prey of a predator. Gees and storks are amongst some of the other bird’s species. Our guides are highly skilled and their ability to track down animals is impressive. This levels an end in the late afternoon and we will proceed to Moshi transportation to the hotel or airport.
