Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi

Day 1: Today the driver will pick you at the airport or hotel in Nairobi and take you to the Lake District. Lying 1000-1600 m above sea level in the Rift Valley is a beautiful place that has the pink cloud of flamingoes and the geysers bubbling with the most spectacular hot water volcanic springs. It covers 107 sq km with 34 sq km being covered by water. The Lake Bogoria National Reserve is dominated by thorny bushland of acacia and the open shores of the lake dominated by grasslands while the sedge Cyperus is around the hot springs. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Zakayos Hotel (Fullboard)  

Day 2

Day 2: Today will start with a boat ride on Lake Baringo to view all the beautiful birds and other animals. After the boat ride, you will go back to the hotel for a great lunch and some relaxing time. It is possible to go into the park in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Zakayos Hotel (Fullboard)  

Day 3

Day 3: After breakfast, start the journey back to Nairobi. Becoz of the distance, you will spend one night in Nairobi. The guide will drop you at the hotel for dinner and overnight.  

Day 4

Nairobi

Day 4: After breakfast, the guide will pick you up in Nairobi and take you to we4kenya guesthouse where you will arrive in the afternoon. We4Kenya is a guesthouse owned by a Kenyan man and his Dutch wife. They put the guesthouse as an income generating project for the community-based project they run. After arriving there it is time to relax and enjoy dinner at the guesthouse. You will stay in the cottage. Dinner and overnight at We4Kenya Guesthouse (Fullboard)  

Day 5

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro

Day 5: Today you will take breakfast in front of your cottage overlooking Amboseli National Park. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. After breakfast, you will be picked by the guide who will take you for a game drive into the park. You will enjoy a full day game drive inside the park with a picknick lunch. After the game drive, you have time to relax at the guesthouse and go around in the area to explore how the community is living here. Dinner and overnight at We4Kenya guesthouse. (Fullboard)  

Day 6

Tsavo

Day 6: Today you will meet the guide after breakfast so you can leave on time to go to Tsavo West National Park. You will have a game drive on the way to Lake Jipe Safari camp. After lunch, you have some time to relax before you will go into the boat for a ride on the lake. Dinner and overnight at Jipe Safari Camp. Overnight in Cottage  

Day 7

Tsavo

Day 7: Today will be again an early breakfast so you can leave on time to go to Tsavo West National Park for a great sunrise game drive. From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. The lunch will be inside the park. After the game drive, it is time to go back to Jipe Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.  

Day 8

Tsavo

Day 8: After breakfast, it is time to hit the road to Tsavo East. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilometers long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust-red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. The lunch is at Voi Wildlife Lodge. After lunch, there is time to relax before making a small evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge (Fullboard)  

Day 9

Day 9: Today it is time for a full day game viewing. The guide will take you through the park and you will take a picnic lunch under a tree inside the park. (it is possible to go back to the lodge for lunch) After the gamedrive, you will go back to the Voi Wildlife lodge for dinner and overnight.  

Day 10

Nairobi

Day 10: Enjoy your breakfast while watching the animals before it is time to go back to Nairobi. You will arrive late afternoon in Nairobi and the guide will bring you to the airport or hotel.
