Amboseli National Park, formerly Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve, is in Kajiado County, Kenya. The park is 39,206 hectares (392 km2; 151 sq mi) in size at the core of an 8,000 square kilometres (3,100 sq mi) ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Most famous in the Amboseli are the large amounts of African Elephants, and Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa (5895 meters).

Itinerary

Day 1

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/Airport 7:30 am in the morning, then drive to Amboseli national park. Amboseli is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Amboseli is also the best national park in Kenya to see the African Elephant at a close range; it is estimated that there are a total of 1200 elephants within the park. The guests will arrive in time for lunch, check in at the tented camp, have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive around 4:00 pm at the park, come back for dinner and overnight stay before dusk. Accommodation: Amboseli Sopa Lodge Meal Plan: Lunch & Breakfast Dat 2: Explore Amboseli National Park Spend the whole day at the park or morning and afternoon game drives. The game drives take us in search of the diverse wildlife and birds drawn to the grasslands and seasonal flood plains of Amboseli, offering fantastic photographic opportunities. Depending on the guest, you could return early to the hotel to enjoy a refreshing swim and enjoy the views of the beautiful Mt. Kilimanjaro. Day 3

Amboseli | Nairobi

Day 3: Amboseli-Nairobi Early morning game drive at 6:30 am, return to hotel for breakfast around 8:00 am. After breakfast (9 am), leave for Nairobi, travel time will be approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, the driver will drop off the guests at respective hotel/airport. This marks the end of our tour, and we hope you've had an amazing time. Accommodation:NONE (can be arranged on request at cost) Meal Plan: Breakfast.
