Arusha | Lake Manyara

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park Pick up by your driver-guide at 08:00hrs and drive you from Arusha to Lake Manyara NP for morning and afternoon unlimited game viewing with picnic lunch in between at a designated place. After exploring the wildlife and landscape of the park, you will be driven to the Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. Exploring Lake Manyara National Park on a game viewing drive through the thick forests presents the opportunity to sight the unique and surprising habitat for lion prides, that are renowned for climbing and lounging on the trees as well as spotting potential prey on the grassy shores of the lake. On the dry land, large herds of buffalo, endangered African wild dog, cheetah, Maasai Giraffe and impala are common sightings and photographing. Birdwatching is superb around the park which has a myriad of shimmering flamingos and other species spotted around the soda lake.

Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater  After a full breakfast at the camp, enjoy an early morning game viewing drive in the Serengeti park. Thereafter, enjoy a scenic drive to Ngorongoro Crater highlands. Ngorongoro Crater floor is a wildlife haven, with a large population of hyena, and lion prides. Cheetahs move in and out of the crater but sightings are very common on crater tours. Leopards are most frequently sighted in the spectacular Lerai area mostly on tree branches. The smaller carnivores that are commonly spotted include: both golden and black-backed jackal. Large numbers of buffalo, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle are spread out in the vast grazing lands of the crater floor. Rhino Lodge is perched at Ngorongoro and transpires a homely feeling through its ambience setting and friendly team. The Rhino Lodge has 24 rooms with ensuite private bathroom showers, and separate flush toilet and verandah. Hot, tasty food is available from the buffet at the dining room.

Day 5: Nungwi Beach, Zanzibar Island  Enjoy the day on the long stretch of the beach where the sand is as soft as powder and watching the turquoise ocean in calmness for a rejuvenating experience. Nungwi is well known for its humble beginnings as a fishing village and dhow-making center of Zanzibar. Nungwi region is comprised of three unique areas: the village itself, which lies a short distance inland and is practically invisible from the shore, and the two main stretches of beach, where almost all the beach resorts, bars and restaurants are located.

Day 7: Nungwi Beach, Zanzibar Island Full day at leisure to relax by the swimming pool or on the beach or enjoy the marine and land activities from Smiles Beach Hotel. Smiles Beach Hotel is a tranquil hideaway boutique resort, set on the quieter flank of the Nungwi Peninsula on Zanzibar’s North Coast. Smiles Beach Hotel offers an idyllic atmosphere for those travellers who have finished their adventurous safari or Mount Kilimanjaro climb and want to unwind and rejuvenate while enjoying the cool ocean breeze, beach activities and sunshine.

Day 9: End of Holiday / Transfer to the Zanzibar INT Airport (ZNZ) Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the resort. Mid-morning will be at leisure to relax by the swimming pool or on the beach. Your driver guide will pick you up for a road transfer to the airport to catch your scheduled flight.
