Day 1

Arusha | Tarangire

DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE Drive to Tarangire. This park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient Baobab trees, which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. Tarangire River is full of wildlife ranging from large variety of birds to lions, buffalos, antelopes, elephants, leopards, zebras, and giraffes. The park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country, thus giving you unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

Lake Manyara

DAY 2: TARANGIRE – MANYARA – NGORONGORO Depart lodge with packed lunch and drive to Lake Manyara. This park has breathtaking scenery and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees as well as a large population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park are giraffes, elephants, impalas and buffalos. The lake is also a home to a large number of hippos. Some unique part of this park includes the tree climbing lions and flamingos in the lake shore.

Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 3: CRATER TOUR – ARUSHA Descend into the crater for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on earth. Ngorongoro crater is considered one of the wonders of world nature. It is one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake with great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It is also famous for its elephants, which have huge tusks.
