Begin your trip to Malawi with a visit to Majete Wildlife Reserve, home of the 'Big 5' since 2012, staying at Mkulumadzi for 2 nights. Mkulumadzi enjoys an idyllic location at the confluence of two rivers shaded by giant leadwood trees. It is the perfect combination of splendid isolation and first-class facilities.
From Majete, you will travel by plane to Liwonde National Park, another 'Big 5' park within Malawi, and one of the most densely populated wildlife spots in Malawi, popular with animal lovers and also bird watchers, with over 300 species of bird resident in the park. Stying at the luxurious Mvuu Lodge, on the banks of the Shire River, you can watch the wildlife from comfort in between game activities included in your package.
To round off your Malawi experience, you will be flown to the Makokola Retreat, on the shores of Lake MAlawi, where you can relax and unwind, or relive your experiences with wildlife in luxurious surroundings with facilities to match.

Day 1
Day 1 Arrival + Road Transfer Met on arrival at Chileka International Airport in Blantyre for a road transfer of approximately 2.5 hours to Mkulumadzi. Mkulumadzi – Full Board - Includes: All meals, all game viewing activities & laundry. - Excludes: Park Costs, CCF, tourism levy, all drinks & transfers - transfers available on request. 2-night stay at Mkulumazi, inclusive of game activities.
Day 1
Majete
Day 1-3 2-night stay at Mkulumazi, inclusive of game activities. Mkulumadzi Majete Wildlife Reserve + 265 (0) 999 970 002 or + 265 (0) 999 970 003 (robin pope safaris) Transfer to Majete airstrip for a 40-minute flight to Liwonde (Makanga airstrip) with Ulendo Airlink. Met on arrival at Makanga airstrip and transferred for about 5-10 minutes to Mvuu Lodge. Mvuu Lodge - Fullboard - Includes: Accommodation, all meals, 3 game activities and park fees for International and African residents. - Excludes: 1% Tourism Levy, road transfers, drinks and extra activities.
Day 3
Majete
Day 3 Transfer + Flight Transfer to Majete airstrip for a 40-minute flight to Liwonde (Makanga airstrip) with Ulendo Airlink.
