Day 1
Day 1 Meet and greet with your guide on arrival at Kigali International Airport and be transferred to Kigali Hotel for overnight.
Day 2
Day 2 Enjoy your breakfast and leave the Hotel for Kigali City tour giving a chance to visit the Genocide Memorial sites of Ntarama and Nyamata outside Kigali city. Return to the city for lunch. Thereafter drive to Musanze for overnight.
Day 3
Volcanoes
Day 3 Early start in readiness for eagerly awaited event of the day and drive to Kinigi, home to Volcanoes National Park Offices, where you are briefed before commencing the once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Overnight: Musanze
Day 4
Volcanoes
Day 4 This day is set out for Golden Monkey tracking in the Volcanoes National Park returning to Musanze in good time for lunch. This afternoon have spectacular encounter with the traditions and culture of the Rwandan community i.e. Banana beer production and Basket weaving done right in the village where you get to mix, participate and learn more. Overnight: Musanze.
Day 5
Day 5 Take breakfast and drive to Gisenyi, the largest port on the Rwandan shore of Lake Kivu. Enjoy a full day in Gisenyi gives you time to enjoy a swim in the lake, explore the town enjoying the hustle and bustle of the local market or wander through the leafy streets admiring the old colonial buildings. Or just relax and admire the view from your hotel. Overnight: Gisenyi.
Day 6
Day 6 Transfer back to Kigali Airport for your onward flight.
