Itinerary
Day 1
Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli: After early breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive southwards across the Athi plains to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants and great scenery with a backdrop view of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Game drive en route lodge arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive after a short rest, dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 2
Amboseli | Kilimanjaro
Day 2: Amboseli An early rise for good views of Mt Kilimanjaro before it is covered by clouds. You have an option to full day game drive with picnic lunch or early and afternoon game drives. An optional tour to a Maasai village to learn their ways of life can be arranged. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 3
Amboseli | Lake Nakuru
Day 3: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru: Breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its millions of seasonal pink flamingos and other aquatic birds. Game drive en route Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive around the lake in search of rhino, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, leopard, and waterbuck can be easily and closely spotted. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Nakuru Lodge
Day 4
Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara: After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch at camp/lodge. Afternoon game viewing, in search of lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight at camp/ lodge.
Day 5
Masai Mara | Serengeti
Day 5: Masai Mara Reserve: After breakfast we go out with picnic lunch boxes spend the whole day game viewing in this sprawling reserve. It is the time for the annual wildebeeste migration, a spectacular view of thousands of Wildebeeste crossing the Sand River from the Serengeti inTanzania into the Masai Mara in Kenya. There is an option of visiting a Masai village (USD$ 20 per person). Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6
Masai Mara
Day 6: Masai Mara – Nairobi: After breakfast, depart the great plains of Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi. You will be dropped at your Hotel or at the Airport for your onward flight home. Optional lunch at the Carnivore restaurant at extra cost.
