Itinerary
Day 1
Masai Mara | Nairobi
Day 1: Depart Nairobi and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stop over to have a view of the great escarpment and the Italian Catholic Church built by prisoners of war. Proceed to Masai Mara Reserve Park and arrive in time for lunch at Lodge. Afternoon game viewing, in search of lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Azure Mara Haven. Approximate transit time is 5 and a half hours.
Day 2
Masai Mara | Serengeti
Day 2: After breakfast we go out with picnic lunch boxes spend the whole day game viewing in this sprawling reserve. It is the time for the annual wildebeeste migration, a spectacular view of thousands of Wildebeeste crossing the Sand River from the Serengeti inTanzania into the Masai Mara in Kenya. There is an option of visiting a Masai village(USD$ 20 per person). Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at Azure Mara Haven.
Day 3
Masai Mara
Day 3: After breakfast, depart the great plains of Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi. You will be dropped at your Hotel or at the Airport for your onward flight home. Optional lunch at the Carnivore restaurant at extra cost. Approximate transit time from Masai Mara is 5 and a half hours.
