Safari summary
This safari itinerary takes you to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here observe the large herds of elephants that descend from the slopes of the mountain in the morning hours and spend most of the day in the swamp feeding and cooling from the heat of the day alongside buffalo and hippo. Also to be viewed are other plains game like the resident wildebeest, zebra, maasai giraffe among others and occasionally lion and cheetah. Lake Naivasha is well known for boat trips to view hippos and different kinds of bird species or a walk among giraffe, zebra and wildebeest etc on Crescent Island. Lake Nakuru National Park, is termed as the home of White and Black Rhino, the unique Rothschild Giraffe as well as Flamingo. Maasai Mara Game Reserve, the jewel park of Kenya is famous for the great wildebeest migration and home to the big five. A cultural visit to a maasai village just outside the park will cap up the safari.

Day 1
Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi >> Amboseli National Park. Pick up from your hotel/airport at 8:00 am and then depart for Amboseli National Park. On arrival, do a game drive en route to the lodge/camp. This park is home to Elephant, Wildebeest (Gnu), Buffalo, Gazelle, Lion, Cheetah, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. Meal plan: (Lunch & Dinner).
Day 2
Amboseli | Kilimanjaro
Day 2: Amboseli National Park. Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as an Animals’ paradise. Visit a Maasai Village and learn their rich culture at an extra fee (optional). In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow– capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight the lodge/camp/. Meal plan: (Full Board).
Day 3
Amboseli | Lake Nakuru
Day 3: Amboseli National Park >> Lake Nakuru National Park. Depart after Breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for lunch as well as check in at the Lodge or camp. Relax until 16:00 hours time for evening game drive, which takes you to the lake to view Flamingo and Pelican. You can also see White/ Black Rhino, Rothschild Giraffe and Waterbuck. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. Meal plan: (Full Board).
Day 4
Lake Nakuru
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park >> Lake Naivasha. Morning game drive before breakfast and then depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving for lunch as well check in. This afternoon you can decide either to go for boat ride to view Hippos and walk among Giraffe and Wildebeest (extra cost) or relax at the lodge/camp. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. Meal plan: (Full Board).
Day 5
Day 5: Lake Naivasha >> Maasai Mara Game Reserve. After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch. Relax until 16:00 hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Observe herds of Wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Impala and Maasai Giraffe and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. Meal plan: (Full Board).
Day 6
Serengeti
Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Maasai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. You have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeest, Zebra, Cheetah and Gazelle, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily observed. Witness the famous wildebeest (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of the wonders of the world. Maasai Mara is the stomping ground of the Great Migration. A massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 350,000 gazelle stretch their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. Overnight at lodge or camp . Meal plan: (Full Board).
Day 7
Day 7: Maasai Mara >> Nairobi. Early morning game drive before breakfast. Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, with picnic lunch on the way arriving late afternoon at your respective hotel or airport. Meal plan: (Breakfast & Lunch).
