Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Depart for your overnight flight to Nairobi, Kenya.
Day 2
Day 2: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you are met by Afriqueen Adventure representative and transferred to the historic Norfolk Hotel.
Day 3
Amboseli
Day 3: Take an early morning flight to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Tortillis Camp in time for lunch. Famed for its herds of elephants, the park also has lion, wildebeest, giraffes, and gazelles. Afternoon game drive with Mt. Kilamanjaro as the back-drop.
Day 4
Amboseli
Day 4: Full days of game drives in Amboseli, including an optional visit to a Masai village.
Day 5
Amboseli | Samburu
Day 5: From Amboseli fly to the Northern Frontier and Samburu Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Intrepids Camp. Afternoon game drive.
Day 6
Buffalo Springs | Samburu
Day 6: On your game drives in Samburu, you will observe the wildlife unique to this area of Kenya such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and oryx, You’ll stay both nightus at Samburu Intrepids Camp, but your game drives will also venture into the other two reserves in the aea, Shaba and Buffalo Springs. A visit to a native Samburu village will also be arranged.
Day 7
Day 7: Take a short flight to Nanyuki where you’ll then be transferred to the Mt. Kenya Safari Club. High on the slopes of Africa’s second highest mountain, this elegant club was founded in 1959 by the late film star, William Holden. Choose from the many activities and amenities here – swimming pool, 9 hole golf course, trout fishing, horse-back riding, and tennis court.
Day 8
Masai Mara
Day 8: Fly over the Rift Valley to the world famous Masai Mara, widely-viewed as the best game-viewing park in all of Kenya. You are sure to see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion and thousands of wildebeest, impala, topi, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle. You’ll stay at Olonana Camp on the banks of the Mara River. The luxury tents have ensuite bathrooms with showers and riverview verandahs.
Day 9
Days 9 and 10: More game viewing in the Mara. You’ll have the option of picnic breakfasts or lunches to better track animals for optimal viewing. You’ll also have the opportunity for a rare glimpse of the day-to-day lives of the Masai people at the adjacent Masai village. Nights at Olonana Camp.
Day 11
Nairobi
Day 11: A morning flight back to Nairobi where you’ll have the use of an individual day room at the Norfolk Hotel and an opportunity for last-minute shopping before your flight leaves for home.

Day 12: International flight home from Nairobi
