2 days Lake Mburo National Park Safari, the smallest of Uganda's savanna parks. The park has a number of different animal species such as Zebras, Buffalos, Hippos, Elands and the newly relocated giraffes. Important to note, it is the only park with Impalas in Uganda. There is also a small population of big cats such as leopards and lions, but these are very elusive and hard to sight.

Itinerary
Day 1
Lake Mburo
Day 1 Travel to Lake mburo - afternoon boat cruise and evening game drive Set off is usually at 6:45 am, the driver picks you up from the hotel / place of residence to start the safari, travelling westwards, making a stopover at the Uganda Equator. Thereafter proceed to the park. Check in and have lunch at the lodge and then proceed for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you are bound to view lots of animals like hippos, zebras, crocodiles and a variety of birds and the breathtaking views of the surrounding wetland and grassy hills in the distance, after go for an evening game drive, which usually takes 1- 2 hours, after make your way back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Day 2 Morning nature walk - drive back to Kampala Wake up very early in the morning at around 6 :45 am, have breakfast and then proceed for the nature walk(accompanied by an armed guide) in order to be able to view the nocturnal animals before they retreat back to their hiding places. Expect to view animals including impalas, warthogs, zebras, bushbucks, giraffes and buffalos. You also stand a chance of seeing the elusive Leopard if lucky. You can also decide whether to go to the salt licks at Rwonyo and also do the small hike to the Rubanga Hilltop to view the mesmerizing lake views. After the nature walk/hike, come back to the lodge, refresh, check out and go for lunch and thereafter, start the journey back to Kampala, arriving at around 6:30pm in the evening.
