Your Safari arrangements Include:

• Flights within Kenya as per itinerary
Travel in 4x4 land cruisers or mini-vans, with 4 or 5 people to a vehicle so that everyone has a window seat. For special photo safaris, only 2 or 3 travel per vehicle to provide the best photographic opportunities for wildlife photographers.Our drivers are English-speaking experienced Kenyan guides who are well-versed in the terrain, the wildlife, and the culture of the areas visited.
Not included: Personal expenses such as travel insurance; excess baggage fees; phone calls; gratuities to drivers and guide; passport and visa fees; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Depart for you overnight flight to Nairobi
Day 2
Day 2: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you are met by Afriqueen Adventure representative and transferred to your hotel, the historic Stanley Hotel.
Day 3
Day 3: Optional city tour, visit to Giraffe Center and/or Animal Orphanage. Overview of photographic opportunities, tips for the coming days. Slide show of past photo safaris.
Day 5
Samburu
Day 5: Drive to Samburu Reserve. Stop for lunch enroute. Arrive in time for afternoon game drive, Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 6
Buffalo Springs | Samburu
Days 6-7: Two more full days in you will observe the wildlife unique to this area of Kenya such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and oryx, You’ll stay both nights Samburu Serena Lodge, but your game drives will also venture into the other two reserves in the aea, Shaba and Buffalo Springs. A visit to a native Samburu village will also be arranged.
Day 8
Lake Nakuru
Day 8: This morning we'll head south again, through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru. The lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth - myriads of pink flamingoes, numbering in the thousands. Afternoon game drive. Lodging and meals at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 9
Lake Nakuru
Day 9: Another full day of game viewing at Lake Nakuru. In addition to the flamingoes, Lake Nakuru is home to white rhinos, Rothschild giraffe, waterbuck, lions, and leopards. Night at Sarova Lion Hill.
Day 10
Days 10-12: The next morning drive to Kenya’s best viewing area - Masa Mara. You are sure to see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion and thousands of wildebest, impat , topi, Grants’ and Thomson’s gazelle. Nights at Mara Sarova Camp.
Day 13
Masai Mara | Serengeti
Day 13-15: Three more days of game viewing in the Masai Mara. We'll move to Mara Serena Lodge. Enough time to see all of the reserve, and a chance, perhaps, to witness hundreds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River on their way back to the Serengeti.
Day 16
Nairobi
Day 16: A morning flight back to Nairobi where you’ll have the use of an individual day room at the Stanley Hotel and a last opportunity for shopping.
Day 17
Day 17: Arrive home
