Nairobi | Samburu

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve Pick up after breakfast and drive north via Nanyuki and Mt. Kenya to rugged and remote Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Samburu

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve Spend the whole day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives looking for animals rarely seen elsewhere the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebras, Beisa oryxes, giraffe necked gazelle (gerenuk), Blue-necked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Longneck Gerenuk, braving lions on the grass, Cheetah, Elusive Leopards along the riverine forest, Elephants among plenty of other plains game. (optional visits to Samburu villages). Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Lake Nakuru | Samburu

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park After an early morning breakfast drive to the shallow alkaline lake Nakuru famous for its flamingo population estimated to be more than a million hence it is referred to as the ‘Birds Paradise’ by bird watchers. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at budget hotel/camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4

Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara Game Reserve After an early breakfast, depart to Kenya’s finest wildlife haven Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in good time for lunch and rest. Later proceed for afternoon game drive to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5

Masai Mara

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne – style breakfast. A full day is spent in the Masai Mara game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai plains in search of the big cats- black manned lions, cheetahs and leopards. You also have a chance to see other plains game like the Topi, Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Common Zebra, Coke's Hartebeest, White-bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog and Thomson's and Grant's Gazelles. The bird life of Mara is as profuse as its mammalian fauna. Optional visit a Masai village to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6

Masai Mara | Nairobi

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi We will enjoy an early morning game drives at 06.30hrs in search of wildlife and then return to our camp/lodge for breakfast and checkout around 10.00hrs. Later leave for Nairobi with stopovers for lunch and/or at curio shops for souvenirs or view features of interest spotted on the way. Arriving Nairobi is in the afternoon. We will drop you back at your Nairobi hotel/ JKIA Airport for your departure flight back home. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch
