Itinerary
Day 1
Kruger
DAY 1 You have the option of travelling by road in an air conditioned mini bus to the Kruger National Park, which is a 5,5 – 6 hour drive from Johannesburg, or you may choose to fly to the Park’s very own airport, Skukuza Airport. Your guide will meet you at Skukuza Airport in an open safari vehicle and take you to your accommodation in the Kruger National Park. After settling down and freshening up at your lodgings, you will enjoy an afternoon safari spotting the animals that the Kruger Park is world renowned for. You will return to your camp in the evening in time for a hearty dinner either prepared for you or at the camp’s restaurant.
Day 2
DAY 2 Your full day safari starts as the sun comes up and the camp gates are opened. You will stop at either a picnic site or camp on route where you can enjoy a quick bite to eat and stretch your legs before continuing your safari. Return to the camp in the late afternoon and enjoy a relaxing evening as dinner is either prepared for you under the stars or enjoyed at the camp’s restaurant.
Day 3
DAY 3 At sunrise you will set out with your guide on another full day safari to a new camp for the next 3 nights. This will allow you to explore a different region of the park, with different scenery and inhabitants. You will stop at either a picnic site or camp on route once again to grab something to eat before continuing your journey. Dinner that evening will either be prepared for you or enjoyed at the camp’s restaurant.
Day 4
DAY 4 Join your guide for either a full day safari or a Panorama Route tour today. Take a drive through the scenic Blyde River Canyon and stop at a restaurant along the way for a delicious meal. On your return to camp, freshen up and enjoy a meal either prepared for you or enjoyed at the camp’s restaurant.
Day 5
DAY 5 Awaken to an African sunrise, and join your guide for a full day safari. A bite to eat will be enjoyed along the way at either a camp or picnic site. Thereafter, an afternoon safari will take you back to camp where your final evening will be spent in the camp’s restaurant over a dinner.
Day 6
Kruger
DAY 6 Your final morning in the breath-taking Kruger Park will end with a morning safari. You will have the opportunity to say farewell to the creatures you have come to know and enjoy followed by a delicious breakfast.
