Day 1

Arusha

Day 1: Arusha / Masai village: 3 hrs drive Met in the morning for safari briefing then drive to Masai village with parked lunch, set up the camp as you arrive then watch and learn the Maasai culture and life style such as slaughtering goat and barbecuing its meat, making fire locally, milking cows, trapping fresh blood from cow’s vein, woman building the houses, dancing, singing etc. dinner and over night at Maasai village camping (adventure camping) no lodges nearby!

Day 2

Tarangire

Day 2: Masai village / Tarangire: 3 hrs drive Before breakfast watch masai women milking cows, breakfast then put camp down and drive to Tarangire Park arrive for lunch, after lunch go for afternoon tour dinner and over night at Tarangire safari lodge or similar.

Day 3

Tarangire

Day 3: Tarangire full day Spend the morning viewing games and exploring the park, hot lunch at the lodge, another tour in the afternoon return before dusk for dinner and over night at Tarangire safari lodge or similar

Day 4

Serengeti | Tarangire

Day 4: Tarangire / Serengeti: 5-6 hrs drive Drive to Serengeti with the packed lunch via Ngorongoro. Optional Olduvai Gorge & Masai village visit at an extra cost, game en-route as you are heading to Serengeti, arrive before dusk for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or similar

Day 5

Serengeti

Day 5&6: Serengeti full day Spend the days viewing games and exploring Seronera (central Serengeti) plains, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or similar

Day 7

Serengeti

Day 7: Serengeti / Ngorongoro: 3 hrs drive Early morning tour before breakfast looking for predators hunting, return for late breakfast then with packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge or similar

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Early breakfast then drive to the crater with packed lunch for games viewing and exploring crater floor. Late afternoon ascend the crater heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge or similar

Day 9

Arusha | Lake Manyara | Serengeti

Day 9: Karatu / Lake Manyara / Arusha: 3 hrs drive After breakfast drive Lake Manyara for half day tour after lunch drive to Arusha, met for safari de-briefing then drop off in town for your own arrangements. Airport transfer and accommodation in Arusha can be arranged at an extra cost.
