Day 1

Arusha

Day 1: Arusha / Masai village: 3 hrs drive Met in the morning for safari briefing then drive to Masai village with parked lunch, set up the camp as you arrive then watch and learn the Maasai culture and life style such as slaughtering goat and barbecuing its meat, making fire locally, milking cows, trapping fresh blood from cow’s vein, woman building the houses, dancing, singing etc. dinner and over night at Maasai village camping (adventure camping) no lodges nearby!

Day 2

Tarangire

Day 2: Masai village / Tarangire: 3 hrs drive Before breakfast watch masai women milking cows, breakfast then put camp down and drive to Tarangire Park arrive for lunch, after lunch go for afternoon tour dinner and over night at Tarangire safari lodge or similar.

Day 3

Tarangire

Day 3: Tarangire full day Spend the morning viewing games and exploring the park, hot lunch at the lodge, another tour in the afternoon return before dusk for dinner and over night at Tarangire safari lodge or similar

Day 4

Tarangire

Day 4: Tarangire / Lake Eyasi (Bushmen): 3 hrs drive Breakfast, then drive to Lake Eyasi for lunch, after lunch take a short walk along the lake, late afternoon visit Datoga tribe to watch and learn their culture and life style, return before dusk for dinner and over night at Lake Eyasi Lodge or similar

Day 5

Serengeti

Day 5: Lake Eyasi / Serengeti: 5 hrs drive Get up 5 am for cup of tea or coffee then drive to Hadzabe (bushmen) home, arrive then watch & learn their culture & life style also join them dancing, Optional go on hunting with them (Hadzabe is a tribe depend on hunting and forest products, do not cultivate or build houses stays under the big trees and the bushes), later drive back to the lodge for late breakfast, depart for Serengeti with packed lunch via Ngorongoro, game en-route arrive before dusk for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or similar

Day 6

Serengeti

Day 6: Serengeti full day Full day tour viewing games and exploring Seronera (central Serengeti) plains, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or similar

Day 7

Serengeti

Day 7: Serengeti / Ngorongoro crater: 3.5 hrs drive Early breakfast then drive to Ngorongoro with packed lunch for crater tour, arrive and descend to the crater for games viewing and exploring crater floor. Late afternoon ascend the crater heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm house or similar

Day 8

Arusha | Serengeti

Day 8: Ngorongoro / Arusha: 3 hrs drive After breakfast drive to Arusha for lunch at your own cost, safari de-briefing then drop off in town for your own arrangements. Airport transfer and accommodation in Arusha can be arranged at an extra cost.
