Safari summary
Without a doubt, one of the planet's most amazing nature events is the massive seasonal movement of creatures in Africa’s Great Migration. To witness hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra traversing the Maasai Mara with predators in pursuit has no parallel on Earth—and that’s why, if you’re making a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa to see the migration, you need to be sure you’re choosing a full, intimate, close-up experience of this stunning phenomenon. Many companies tack the word “migration” onto their trip name, but their guests actually end up in crowded parks, cramped vehicles and large safari lodges far from wildlife corridors.
