Day 1
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda. Pick up and transfer to your Hotel in Kampala for overnight. If you are not too exhausted and time is on your side, this is your chance to squeeze in a short city tour or join our Kampala pub crawl to discover Kampala’s nightlife and make friends Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 2
Kibale
Day 2: Today we have an idle road trip to Kibale. The drive is a approximately 6 hours and is the perfect chance to learn about history, tribes and cultures along this route. Your guide is very knowledgeable, please take advantage. Optional activity: Night forest-walk in Kibale forest to spot night primates Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 3
Day 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING in the morning or afternoon (Depending on permit availability) Optional Activity: Bigodi Swamp walk, Forest walk Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 4
Queen Elizabeth
Day 4: After a relaxed breakfast we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions. Expect to see elephants, lions, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards. Later, we have an afternoon game drive within the park Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 5
Day 5: As early as 6 am, drive into the national park to spot wildlife. This is the best time to catch lions hunting. In the afternoon, take a private boat on the Kazinga channel. This channel link Lake Edward to Lake George and has the highest number of hippopotamuses in the world. This channel attracts a varied number of wildlife such as crocodiles and is one of the best platforms for birders in Uganda. Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 6
Bwindi Impenetrable | Queen Elizabeth
Day 6: Today we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, the home of mountain Gorillas. On our way we drive through Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for tree climbing lions. Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 7
Day 7: Today is the Day!! Go for GORILLA TRACKING and get within 10 feet of the most amazing human like creature that resides in the forest. Careful not to touch the young ones though! You might get a slap!! Optional Activity: If you conclude your gorilla tracking early enough, you have an opportunity to visit the Batwa Pygmy Community Accommodation: Medium Budget Lodge (BB)
Day 8
Day 8: Today we drive to the airport for your departure flight (Kigali Airport is 4 hours drive, Entebbe Airport is 8 hours drive) End of services
