Lake Manyara | Tarangire

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara In the morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is located within the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting, famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash lake. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Farm House. Best time to visit: Suitable all year-round. Best months July to September.

Serengeti

Day 4: The Serengeti (full day) Now you have the full day to experience the vastness of the Serengeti plains and explore the centre of the park for the best chance of witnessing the annual wildebeest migration*. After lunch, you’ll then go for an afternoon game drive to discover more of the amazing wildlife the Serengeti has to offer. Overnight stay at Kubu Kubu Luxury Tented Camp. *Best time to visit: Suitable all year-round. December to July to follow the wildebeest migration (either Ndutu or Mara River crossing). June to October to see predators.

Arusha | Kilimanjaro | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Moshi/Arusha Today you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa's seven natural wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife and you might also be lucky enough to witness the endangered Rhino! Enjoy a game drive and lunch by the hippo pool. After lunch, we’ll then drive back to Moshi/Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.  **Please note that we are completely flexible and able to customize your trip to suit your time, budget and interests.
