Murchison Falls

DAY 1;Transfer to Murchison via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. After an early morning breakfast at 7:00 am, we set off for the drive to Murchison Falls National Park.  Along the way we make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos are being reintroduced to Uganda. Here you go for a trek seeing these fascinating animals.  We have lunch at the sanctuary or further along the way depending on time.  Continuing on we expect to reach Pakuba in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Budongo Eco Lodge.  Transfer duration from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino is 3 hours.  

DAY 3;Morning and evening boat cruise. Take an early cup of tea/coffee at 8:00 am and then set off for a game drive in the park.  You have the chance of seeing big cats hunting, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76.  We continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals.  Enjoy a relaxed lunch and go for a boat-cruise on the Nile River. This 2-3 hour boat ride, on the river, to the base of the falls takes you to where you will see hippos and Nile crocodiles. This spot is a place where you have never seen more hippos yawning, or grooming in their natural family pods than anywhere else in Africa! Nile crocodile, elephant and a wide variety of bird species can be seen along the banks.  Later in the evening, you will return for dinner and your overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge.
