Day 1

Lake Nakuru | Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi - Drive to Lake Elementaita An early pick up from Nairobi and drive through the stunning scenery of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley to explore Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for the spectacular pink flamingos that gather on its salt encrusted shores as well as for other bird species including African fish eagles and pelicans. The woodland and grassland surrounding the soda lake are home to an abundance of animals. Picnic lunch in the park. Continue to Lake Elementaita for dinner and overnight at Elementaita Lodge .

Day 2

Masai Mara

Day 2: Lake Elementaita - Drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve After an early breakfast we continue our safari by heading to the world-famous Masai Mara, arriving for lunch at Mara Sopa/Osero Mara camp where we will stay for 2 nights. Afternoon at leisure at the lodge to observe wildlife from the Elephant Deck or at the Hippo Bar which overlooks a waterhole. Alternatively, enjoy the swimming pool or other optional activities (payable locally) such as the spa or nature walks. Dinner and overnight at Mara sopa Lodge/Osero mara camp.

Day 3

Masai Mara

Day 3: Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve After breakfast at the lodge we explore the Masai Mara National Reserve for a day of game-viewing. We will see a wide variety of Kenya’s animals – great and small – such as elephants, buffalo, giraffe and plains game and we will go in search of the big cats for which the Mara is famous. Dinner and overnight at Mara sopa lodge/Osero mara camp.

Day 4

Masai Mara | Nairobi

Day 4: Masai Mara - Drive to Nairobi Early morning tea/ coffee or Hot chocolate then depart for a morning ‘Spice’ game drive. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. After breakfast back at the camp/lodge depart for Nairobi by road arriving early afternoon for lunch and drop off to your desired destination.
