Queen Elizabeth

Day 1 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Meet your safari guide and leave Entebbe/Kampala in the morning. The target for the day is Queen Elizabeth National park. Our first stop on the way is by the equator to get the experience of standing with one foot on either side of the southern- and northern hemisphere. Continue on for lunch in the town of Mbarara and then do the last part of the journey through rolling hills with tea plantations. Arrive at the lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.  Overnight Pumba Safari Cottages  

Bwindi Impenetrable | Queen Elizabeth

Day 3 - Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Head off to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth national park in the morning. The drive there goes along an adventurous road and you have the chance of seeing baboons and elephants along the way. In Ishasha you find topis, buffaloes and search for the tree-climbing lions. The lions in this area are famous for climbing up great fig trees to take a rest. After finishing your game-drive the journey goes on to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Enjoy the changing landscape as the car slowly climbs up towards the misty mountains of the gorillas.  Overnight Gorilla Mist Camp  

Day 5 - Relax by Lake Bunyonyi Have a free day by Lake Bunyoyi. Here you can rent a canoe to explore the islands, take a swim (the lake is free of hippos, crocodiles and bilharzia), go for a hike or just relax with a book.  Overnight Bushara Island camp  

Lake Mburo

Day 7 - Safari-walk and transfer to Kampala/Entebbe Start the day early with a safari-walk in Lake Mburo national park. Get the experience of being one with nature as you see the animals close by during the walk. Have breakfast at the lodge before starting the journey to Kamapal/Entebbe. Make a stop along the way for lunch in Masaka or at the Equator depending on time. You have now reached the end of your Gorillas and Savanna safari and your guide drops you in Kampala/Entebbe.
