Kibale

Day 1 - Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park Meet your safari guide and leave Entebbe/Kampala in the morning for your Primates in Uganda safari . The target of the day is Kibale Forest National Park. It will be a full day in the car so settle in and enjoy the Ugandan countryside passing by the window. Overnight Primate Lodge   Day 2 - Chimpanzee habituation in Kibale Forest National Park Be woken up by the sounds of the jungle and have an early breakfast. This day you will have a full day in the jungle as you participate in chimpanzee habituation. The habituation is a way to get the chimps used to tourists in preparation for opening their group up for chimps trekking.  During the day you get the chance to study the chimps and for sure many great photo opportunities. When your adventure with the chimps is over your guide takes you back to the lodge for a relaxed evening.  Overnight Primate Lodge  

Bwindi Impenetrable | Queen Elizabeth

Day 4 - Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Head off to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth national park in the morning. The drive there goes along an adventurous road and you have the chance of seeing baboons and smaller primates in the trees as well as elephants along the way. In Ishasha you find topis, buffaloes and search for the tree-climbing lions. The lions in this area are famous for climbing up great fig trees to take a rest. After finishing your game-drive the journey goes on to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Enjoy the changing landscape as the car slowly climbs up towards the misty mountains of the gorillas.  Overnight Gorilla Mist Camp  

Day 6 - Second Gorilla trekking day This day you set of for the gorilla trekking in the morning for the second time. Now you know a bit more what to expect and can take in the moment in another way. Of course as the gorillas are wild the experience will not be the same as the day before, you get new chances for meetings close-up and to get does great photos. When you are back from the trek your guide drives you down from the mountains to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight Bushara Island camp  

Day 8 - Transfer to Entebbe After breakfast the journey towards Entebbe starts. Make stops along the way for lunch in Mbarara and at the Equator for the chance to stand with one foot on either side on the southern and northern hemisphere. After the last part of the drive to Entebbe your guide takes you to the hotel for a relaxed evening.  Overnight Lake Victoria view guest house
