Safari summary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru
You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel and immediately depart for Lake Nakuru which is 3 hours away. Once you arrive have a short game drive as you head to the lodge for lunch. Relax by the pool area after lunch and later have a game drive at 4p.m. You will meet great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the endangered white and black rhino found in this park among many other wildlife including the rest of ‘Big Five.’

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara
After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. You will have a game drive as you head to the camp for lunch. Another game drive will be at 4p.m. Look out for Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo.

Overnight: Sopa

Day 3 & 4: Maasai Mara – Full day game drive
These 2 days will be spent with morning and afternoon game drives that lead one to some of Africa's largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. In between game drives, you will have picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Musoma
Have breakfast then depart for Musoma passing through Isebania border. You will arrive at lunch time. The rest of the day is spent relaxing.

Overnight: Malaika Beach Resort

Day 6: Musoma – Transfer to Serengeti
Depart for Serengeti after breakfast. You will arrive before lunch time. Check in and later have lunch. Game drive is at 4o’clock.

Overnight: Serena/Mbalageti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7: Serengeti – Full day
Spend this whole enjoying game drives within the Great Serengeti. Serengeti is the home to Africa’s Big Five. There will be picnic lunch in the course of the day.

Day 8: Serengeti - Transfer to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater passing through Olduvai Gorge. Enjoy an introductory game drive as you arrive at the crater as you head to the lodge. There will be no other game drive so spend the remaining hours at leisure enjoying walking around the surrounding areas and exploring the lodge’s facilities.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Transfer Lake Manyara
Have early breakfast then have another game drive before you depart for Lake Manyara. Arrive before lunch time. Check in at the lodge, have lunch, relax and later enjoy a game drive at 4o’clock.

Overnight: Lake Manyara Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10: Lake Manyara – Transfer to Zanzibar (By flight)
Have breakfast then depart for Arusha to arrive before lunch. Have lunch in Arusha before being dropped at the airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Overnight: Ras Nungwi
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11 – Day 14: Zanzibar
Own activities
Overnight: Ras Nungwi

Day 15: Zanzibar – Transfer to Arusha/Nairobi/Kilimanjaro (By flight)
You will have a transfer to the airport for your out bound flight
