Itinerary
Day 1
Arusha | Kilimanjaro
DAY 1 ARRIVAL Our driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport and drive you for your overnight stay at Ilboru Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 2
Tarangire
DAY 2 TARANGIRE After breakfast at your accommodation you will be picked up by our driver-guide and start driving to Tarangire National park for game viewing. Picnic lunches at a location within the park. Game drives until early evening. Tarangire is known especially for its large herds of elephants roaming among the huge baobab trees. It has its own “mini-migration” as Tarangire River is an important source of drinking water during the dry season (Jun – Oct) and that makes it the perfect place to spot wildlife. Migratory animals come to put out their thirst and following them are the predators looking for a feast. Exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Farm House or similar.
Day 3
Serengeti
DAY 3 SERENGETI After breakfast, we will drive through Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti’s endless plains provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing. Game drives and lunch inside the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Tortilis Camp or similar.
Day 4
Serengeti
DAY 4 SERENGETI - NGORONGORO Game drive at sunrise in Serengeti. Return to your accommodation for breakfast. After breakfast game drive along the way as you start your drive with picnic lunches towards Ngorongoro Highlands. Afternoon game drive in Ngorongoro. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp or similar.
Day 5
Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater
DAY 5 CRATER TOUR After an early breakfast, around 6 am, you’ll descend down to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. The Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. It is renowned both for its geological splendor, and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations found in Africa. In the afternoon ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha and Ilboru Safari Lodge or similar for your overnight stay.
Day 6
DAY 6 DEPARTURE Our driver will drive you to airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
