Lusaka to Lower Zambezi

Lower Zambezi

We meet at 07:00hrs at your accommodation, have the briefing and start our safari to Lower Zambezi. If needed we can do some final shopping before we hit the road. Our destination is the beautiful Lower Zambezi NP. The park is opposite the famous Mana Pools NP / Zimbabwe. It's not only the scenery with the mountain range to the North and the Zambezi River that makes this park so attractive. Herds of Elephants and Buffaloes are often encountered on their way in and out of the Zambezi channels.

After an early breakfast we head out for most of the day (full day game drive or extended morning game drive plus optional Sunset boat cruise) and have picnic lunch in the park. In the morning we will focus on the area close to the mountains as the animals are grazing their at night. When it starts warming up animals will go down to the Zambezi River to quench their thirst.
