Arusha | Kilimanjaro

Day 3:   Shira Plateau (Mt. Kilimanjaro) Day Trip / Transfer to Arusha After early Breakfast,  Lodge is the closes Lodge only being 30 minutes away from the KINIPA gate. Be the first to enter the national park and enjoy the Shira Plateau all to your-selves. The earlier you are the longer you can see the Summit before it hides away in the clouds. Walk on the Shira plateau is a great opportunity to get high up on the mountain and hike around this remarkable World Heritage overlooking the Tanzanian and Kenyan plains and breathtaking views of the summit whilst enjoying a fruitful and tasty homemade picnic.  The day starts by leaving the lodge at 7:30 after breakfast and take the lunch picnic with to be at the gate by 8:00 to sign in and to be on the plateau around 9:00 (depending on how long it takes at the gate). Once through the park age the road climbs up through different layers of vegetation’s and ecosystems. Parking the car on the Shira Rim where you can choose between the different hikes. Always indicate to the guide how long you want to walk for. Depending on the length of the hike choose you will be back at the lodge around 15:00/15:30 in time for Sundowner. Accommodation:  Stay in Arusha Meal Plan:  Breakfast,  packed lunch and  Dinner Different Hikes trails are available:  • Shira Plateau Day Hiking trail: is a loop trail that takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. View breath taking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and on a clear day you can see into Kenya.  • Shira Northern Rim Trail: is a 1.5 hour hike. This hike leads to a series of spectacular observations points along the northern rim of Shira Crater. • Half Day: Half day walk you walk for about 2-4 hours and back at the lodge around 2:00/2:30  • Full Day: Full day walk you walk for about 3- 6 hours and back at the lodge around 17:00 Hike Zone: You need the following: 1. Good foot ware / walking sticks if needed 2. Warm sweater/jacket/hat and Sunscreen 3. Lots of Drinking water 4. A Camera 5. Copy of your Passport 6. Visa/Master card for payment at the KINPA gate (the gate does not expect any cash, only at the forest gate – extra cost is US$83/pp )

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 5:   Ngorongoro Crater  Safari After breakfast,  visit walk around the coffee plantation and factory.   10h00am transfer to Ngorongoro, descend down the steep walls of the caldera for another Half-day safaris game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. The Park is a paradise of woodlands and lakes that provide for abundant wildlife. Gazelle, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest as well as big cats, particularly the black manned lion, leopards and hyena.  Accommodation:  Lodge Meal Plan:  Breakfast,  Packed lunch and dinner

Serengeti

Day 7:  Full day  Serengeti  game drive - game drive to possibly see the Migration After breakfast,  transfer to Serengeti Park Full day  game drive in Serengeti National Park Accommodation:   Central Serengeti Tented Camp  lodge located inside Serengeti Park Meal Plan:  Breakfast,  Packed lunch and dinner

Day 9: Zanzibar Beach Check out 10am.  Relax in stone town or transfer to Zanzibar Beach Option at extra cost:   Spice tour - $55 per person Check in Beach Hotel time 14h30  Relaxing on the beach or sea sport, dive, snorkelling can be arranged at extra cost. There are several choices of accommodations, some are lower cost or higher cost, inquire for options. Accommodation at  Zanzibar Beach Hotel Meal Plan:  Breakfast, and Dinner ( lunch not included )

Kilimanjaro | Serengeti

Day 11: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport Breakfast, check-out time at 10h30am. Depending on your fight departure time we will transfer you to Zanzibar airport. connect on international flight back home. Main destination:  Zanzibar Airport.
