Arusha

Day 1 Arrive in Arusha Town - Karatu Open or Close The tour starts with lunch in Arusha Town at 12:30 pm. At around 2:00 p.m., drive to Karatu for dinner and stay under the tent. Meals: Dinner.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 2 Karatu - Ngorongoro Conservation Area; Safari Today you will collect picnic lunches and drive to Ngorongoro Crater, descending 2,000 feet (over 600 meters) to its floor for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. You will spend the night in a tent. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3

Lake Manyara

Day 3 Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Lake Manyara National Park; Safari After breakfast at the camp, drive to Lake Manyara with picnic lunches. Enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife. Enjoy dinner and the night at a campsite in Mto wa Mbu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Arusha | Lake Manyara

Day 4 Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha Town, Departure After breakfast, return to Arusha and have lunch at a restaurant. Though your safari camp ends today, your vacation doesn’t have to. Please feel free to further customize the rest of your trip. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
