Day 1

Arusha | Lake Manyara

Day 1 Arrive in Arusha Town - Lake Manyara National Park; Safari The tour starts with lunch in Arusha town at 12:30 pm. Around 1:30 pm, drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy an evening game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at a campsite in Mto wa Mbu. Meals: Dinner.

Day 2

Lake Manyara | Serengeti

Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park; Safari Depart to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunches. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti with a chance to see great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Have dinner and spend the night under tents in Serengeti. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3

Serengeti

Day 3 Serengeti National Park; Safari Spend an entire day game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Spend the night under tents in the Serengeti. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4

Serengeti

Day 4 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Picnic lunches will be served at the Gorge. Proceed driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Have dinner and spend the night at Simba campsite. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5

Day 5 Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Karatu; Safari Today you will descend 2,000 feet (0ver 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, drive to Karatu for dinner and stay under tents. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6

Arusha

Day 6 Karatu - Arusha Town, Departure After breakfast, drive back to Arusha and have lunch. Though your safari camp ends today, your vacation doesn’t have to. Please feel free to further customize the rest of your trip. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
