Kilimanjaro

Day 2 - Mount Kilimanjaro There are two options today:       1.    Enjoy a day acclimatizing with a hike in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, visiting Mnambe Waterfalls and the culture of the Chagga people who call these slopes home. Share their longstanding tradition of coffee-making and learn firsthand how it is processed locally. 2.    Hike on the famous Mount Kilimanjaro, known as the rooftop of Africa. Take the Marangu Route through the cool and wet rainforest, where you can often spot Colobus monkeys, to the first camp. When you reach the camp, hike around to the Maundi Crater, enjoy your lunch, and then descend for your evening return to Moshi. Tarangire

Day 4 - Tarangire National Park Wake early to a beautiful sunrise over the Maasai steppe and enjoy your breakfast. Depart at 07:00 am for the drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its bulbous Baobab trees and expansive herds of elephants. Experience a full day’s game drive in this divine ecosystem. Ngorongoro Crater

Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater Awake early for your drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful havens for wildlife in the world. Descend into the crater floor, Africa’s Garden of Eden with abundant wildlife, a site infamously dubbed the world’s eighth wonder. Enjoy a day’s game drive. Overnight atop the Ngorongoro Crater rim with an awarding vista of the crater floor. Day 8-9 - Serengeti National Park Awake to the bright orange sunrise over the Serengeti Plains and the sounds of wildlife around you. Arusha

Day 11 - Arusha - Zanzibar Depart from Arusha on a flight to the Spice Islands of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean. The romance and splendor of the past are still alive with the sailing dhows, elaborately carved wooden doors, and the wafting scents of spices. Upon arrival, you will be met by a hotel shuttle and transferred to your hotel on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy the late afternoon and evening relaxing by the calming ocean sounds. Day 13 - Zanzibar Depart from your hotel in the morning for your drive to Stone Town, a town characterized by its mazes of narrow alleyways filled with shops, mosques, homes, and open-air markets. There are many historical sites to visit on the waterfront, uniquely coastal flavors to sample, and shopping as well. Spend your day and evening exploring this unique World Heritage Site and sleep amidst the sounds of this bustling coastal town.
