This traditional land of the Masai people, nomadic herders who choose a traditional lifestyle, comprises of 200 sq miles of open plains, woodlands and riverine forest. Contiguous with the plains of the Serengeti, the Mara is home to a breathtaking array of life. Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes and a fantastic bird sanctuary, with its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingos. This sight inspired the famous ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson to call it "the greatest bird spectacle on earth".

Day 1
Masai Mara | Nairobi
Day 1 Arrive in Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve; Safari On arrival at Nairobi, you will be met by our representative and dropped to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This drive will take you past the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley with occasional stops for some photography. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, overlooking the rolling hills that characterize the Masai Mara. After lunch, you will have an hour to rest before your first game drive. The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion’s roar, a cheetah making a kill, the large herds of migratory wildebeest, an elephant trumpeting in anger and lots of other animal activities are fascinating to watch. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2
Masai Mara
Day 2 Masai Mara Game Reserve; Safari In the morning, make your way to the lobby for coffee, tea and cookies. You leave at 6:30 am in search of wild animals as this is the best time to watch the big cats hunt. You return for breakfast. After lunch, you will have time to rest before the evening safari where you leave in search of more wildlife including the "big five" i.e the lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and the buffalo. You return to the hotel by 6:30 pm to enjoy dinner at the lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 3
Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara
Day 3 Masai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park: Safari After a buffet breakfast at the lodge, you visit Lake Nakuru National Park. Nakuru is also the fourth largest city in the country and the head town of the Rift Valley. You will have lunch will be at your lodge where you will later spend the night. In the afternoon, you enjoy a game viewing drive in the park that is also Kenya's first rhino sanctuary. The Rothschild giraffes have been rehabilitated here at a time that they were endangered. You are almost certain to see the most elusive of the cat family - the leopard. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 4
Lake Nakuru | Nairobi
Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park - Nairobi, Departure After breakfast at the camp, you head for Nairobi. After lunch, you are dropped to Nairobi airport for your flight back home. You have the option to extend your trip to a holiday in the palm-fringed beaches of the Kenyan coast. Meals: Breakfast.
