Day 1
Amboseli | Kilimanjaro
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for briefing. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Then commence drive to Amboseli. After crossing the frontier town of Namanga, on the border with Tanzania, the semidesertic landscape brings us to the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards and the great view of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Day 2
Amboseli
Day 2: Amboseli National Park Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Later just relax till afternoon game drive or visit the nearby Masai village as an optional excursion. Day 3
Amboseli
Day 3: Amboseli - Aberdare National Park Breakfast and drive to Aberdares with lunch in Nairobi. Proceed on driving through Kikuyu land and onward through the lush tea and coffee plantations to the Aberdares Mountains. You will arrive at Aberdare country in the late afternoon and you will be transferred to the Ark where you spent the whole night watching animal come down at the waterhole to drink. Day 4
Lake Nakuru
Day 4: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru National Park Breakfast and shuttle transfer to Aberdare Country Club. Rejoin your driver/guide and depart for Lake Nakuru national park to arrive for lunch. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – JACARANDA ELEMENTAITA LODGE Distance: Approx. 200 kms - 3 hrs drive Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner} Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park.
Day 5
Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara
Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Game Reserve After breakfast climb the Western Escarpment of the Rift Valley and head towards Masai Mara. With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here. Enjoying views of the picturesque Masai tribesmen herding cattle on the way, you arrive in time for lunch and a well deserved rest! Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards, before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Day 6
Masai Mara
Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve The early morning calm air of the Masai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird's eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive. OPTION: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the "Big Five".
