Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Kenya   Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for briefing. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Then commence drive via Karatina and crossing the equator at Nanyuki, en route to the Mount Kenya National Park. You will arrive at Mount Kenya Safari Club in the late afternoon. After lunch you will be transferred to the Ark where you spent the whole day and night watching animal come down at the waterhole to drink. You descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located.  Arrive in time for lunch and short rest. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight at JACARANDA ELEMENTAITA LODGE Distance: Approx. 200 kms - 4 hrs drive Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}     Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos.  It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park.     Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve   After breakfast climb the Western Escarpment of the Rift Valley and head towards Maasai Mara.  With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here. Enjoying views of the picturesque Maasai tribesmen herding cattle on the way, you arrive in time for lunch and a well deserved rest! Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards, before returning to your lodge as the sun sets!
