The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Day 1
Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for briefing. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Commence drive to Lake Naivasha are to arrive for lunch at the respective Lodge . Remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at FISH EAGLE INN or similar. www.fisheagleinn.co.ke Distance: Approx. 100 kms - 2 hrs drive Meal plan: {Lunch, Dinner} Lake Naivasha is surrounded by stands of papyrus and is a bird-watchers paradise. Waterbirds exists in great variety and abundance and over 400 birds have been recorded on the lake. Fish eagles and ospreys, herons and egrets, lily-trotters, red-knobbed coots and black crakes can be found within the area of this beautiful lake, which also supports around 500 resident hippos and introduced sport fish including the Nile perch, the North American red swamp crayfish and various aquatic plants. Excursions possible from Naivasha include visits to Hell's Gate National Park, have a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and visit the Crescent Island, a curious peninsula /archipelago, depending on the lakes’ water level, which is filled with different species of herd animals and one is able to freely walk around the island. Also a visit to Elsamere, former home of Joy Adamson and a little further past Elsamere, the emerald green Crater Lake. This is one of the best places in the area to see Black and White Colobus monkeys and there is also fantastic swimming.
Day 2
Lake Nakuru
Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park Breakfast and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching. Dinner and overnight at JACARANDA ELEMENTAITA LODGE Distance: Approx. 100 kms – 2 hrs drive Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner} Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park. The afternoon game drive is included and you will return to your lodge as the sun sets!
Day 3
Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara
Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Game Reserve After breakfast commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective Camp. Day 4
Masai Mara
Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve The early morning calm air of the Masai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird's eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive. OPTION: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the "Big Five". You will have picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon). Later just relax or visit the nearby Masai village as an optional excursion. Day 5
Masai Mara | Nairobi
Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi & Depart After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon you will be dropped off in Nairobi (use of room is excluded). Transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for scheduled International departure flight, 03 HOURS PRIOR TO FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME.
