Day 1

Arusha | Kilimanjaro

Day 1: Arusha - Tanzania's Safari Gateway Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by a Kibo Guide Team Member and driven to Arusha Usa River Region. Enjoy the afternoon at Rivertrees or wander through the garden which is perfect for bird-watching. Your accommodation lies a comfortable 20 minute drive from Arusha. Overnight: Rivertrees Country Inn

Day 2

Tarangire

Day 2: Tarangire National Park After breakfast, depart with picnic-lunch to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania third largest National Park and enjoy the day with Game Drives. The National Park is known for its spectacular baobab trees and its large elephant population. During dry season the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for thirsty wildlife. In the afternoon continue to your camp and enjoy a guided Bush Walk to explore the Manyara-Tarangire Ecosystem. Lake Manyara

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park & Rift Valley Rim In the morning continue for Game Drives to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers a large variety of habitats which enable to support a large number of animal’s species. In the afternoon drive up the Great Rift Valley and enjoy a guided Bush Walk along the rim. Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater After an early breakfast, depart with picnic-lunch to Ngorongoro Crater and descent into the crater to view game on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater offers a spectacular animal life throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Serengeti

Day 5: Serengeti National Park Morning and afternoon Game Drives in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebras. Day 6

Serengeti

Day 6: Olduvai Gorge Museum Enjoy one last Game Drive in the Serengeti before returning to the Karatu with a stop at Olduvai Gorge Museum. Olduvai Gorge Museum The museum’s exhibits tell the story of the paleoanthropological artefacts that have been discovered here and the research they have generated. There is a room dedicated to the Leakey family and all they have achieved here and another to the famous Laetoli fossilized footprints which included a cast of part of the trail. Museum staff also conducts orientation presentations. Optional for extra costs: upgrade your accommodation and overnight at Tloma Lodge or Kitela Lodge on Full Board Basis. Day 7

Arusha

Day 7: Return to Arusha Today your safari ends. Enjoy a guided Farm Walk with an introduction to the cultivation of coffee in the morning. After lunch return to Arusha with arrival in the early afternoon in time for your international flight.
