Itinerary

Day 1

Kibale

Day 1: Your picked up from your overnight hote, in the morning for the safari to Kibale Forest National Park, the most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests. Kibale is home to a remarkable 13 primate species including the much localized red colobus and L' Hoest's monkeys. Kibale's major attraction however is the opportunity to track habituated chimps - these delightful apes are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in the fruting trees.

Day 2

Queen Elizabeth

Day 2: Embark on chimpanzee tracking after breakfast an experience that lasts about 2-4hours. A net work of shady forest trails provides much to delight in for botanists and butterfly lovers. If you love birds your in for a treat with 335 species recorded including the endemic prirogrine's ground thrush. After this exciting experience return to have bags ready for a drive to Queen Elizabeth National park a drive that lasts about 1 and a half hours. Have lunch on arrival and relax as you settle in before an evenning game drive later in the day.

Day 3

Day 3: Early riser at 6:30am grab coffee and go out for a search to catch the lions hunting before they disappear in the thickets. Other animals to look out for on the game drive are: cape buffalo,the handsome Uganda kob, warthog, elephant,leopard and ,waterbuck among others. At 3;00pm take a cruise on the Kazinga Channel a haven for over 600 bird types,hippopotamus,crocodile and cape buffalo.

Day 4

Bwindi Impenetrable

Day 4: Wake up to a relaxed breakfast before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park the host to the mountain gorillas. Arrive to check in and relax or go for an evening village walk or souvenir shopping in the local craft shops.

Day 5

Day 5: Early breakfast and head to the information center for briefing before embarking on the long awaited trek. Gorilla tracking may last only 3hours or up to 8hours sometimes with rain overhead so be prepared with sturdy hiking boots and a waterproof jacket. After a satisfactory trek return to your overnight accommodation for a well deserved hot shower and rest after dinner.

Day 6

Lake Mburo

Day 6: After a relaxed breakfast with great memories of the mountain gorillas depart Bwindi heading to Lake Mburo National Park, the best place in the county to see the giantic eland antelope, as well as zebra,topi,impala,and several acacia-associated birds. On arrival to the park enjoy the drive en route to your overnight accommodation while looking out for wildlife that includes: the elusive leopard,jackals,hyenas,zebra,and the newly introduced giraffes among others.

Day 7

Day 7: Wake up to an early breakfast before departing for a nature walk in the park accompanied by a ranger. it's a refreshing walk before you emabark on the return drive to Kampala with lunch en route to be dropped at the airport for a night flight home or at a Hotel in Kampala. End of safari
