Arusha town to Tarangire

Tarangire

We will pick you up from the agreed point in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park. Picnic lunch and game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park has numerous baobab trees that will primarily catch your attention. The Park derived its name from the Tarangire River, which rises in the highlands of Central Tanzania, and winds its way through the game sanctuary.

Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive. Picnic lunch and an afternoon short game drive in Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. In the endless plains of the Serengeti, you have an excellent chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game drive at Serengeti Park. Come back for breakfast. Then leave the park with the game en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Ndutu Plains. In January, wildebeest and zebra herds continue to move south, mainly along the eastern edge of the Serengeti toward the fresh short grasses of the Ndutu plains, while much of the migration has already arrived in the southern Serengeti near Lake Ndutu where the animals will graze and prepare to drop their young.

Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning breakfast, then leave for a full day game drive in the Crater. There is a good chance of spotting the big five in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard. Lunch will occur at the picnic site on the banks of a hippo-infested lake and swamp. We will ascend from the crater and drive you back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
