Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: DRIVE TO GULU-ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY. Today the journey will start very early in the morning from Kampala/Entebbe. On your way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary that is now a home for the White Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda, later have lunch and continue your way to Gulu. A long the way; you will be able to see one of the spectacular falls in Uganda-Karuma falls. Accommodation: Bomah Hotel-Gulu Meal: -, L, D

Day 2

Kidepo Valley

Day 2: KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK- Game drive Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the rugged, semi arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with Sudan and Kenya, some 700km from Kampala. Gazetted as a national park in 1962, it has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species. Kidepo is Uganda’s most isolated national park is also the most magnificent, for Kidepo ranks among Africa’s finest wildernesses. Today, you will get ready to see the National Park because that will be your next destination for the day. You will arrive at your accommodation in the National Park in time for lunch, enjoy your lunch and relax a little bit at your accommodation. Later on you will go for an evening game drive. Day 3

Day 3: NATURE WALK-HOT SPRINGS AND GAME DRIVE After your breakfast, start your drive through the Narus Valley. You will have a nature walk to the Hot springs. In the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive. Kidepo National Park is home to elephant, zebra, giraffe, huge herds of buffalo, warthog, duiker, Jackson’s Hartebeest, lion, leopard, cheetah and hundreds of bird species, Buffalos, and Elephants. Other animals that may be seen roaming around include: Jackal Roan, Antelope, Waterbuck, Eland, Oribi, Klipspringer and Lions. The park also boasts of being the highest concentration of birds endemic to Uganda like: Ostrich, Kori bustard, vultures, pygmy falcon, hornbills, eagles and more. Day 4

Day 4: GAME DRIVE AND COMMUNITY/CULTURAL VISIT After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game that will take you to see various animals and birds. You will rest at your accommodation after your Lunch until evening where you will go for a cultural tour in the Karamajong community. Here you will spend a wonderful evening with Karamajong people and have an insight of their way of life and beliefs. At the end of the tour you will be able to understand why their pride makes them slow to adapt to globalization. Accommodation: Nga’Moru Wilderness Camp Meal plan: B, L, D

Day 5

Day 5: DRIVE TO KAMPALA/ENTEBBE. After an early breakfast, you will drive to Kampala; have time to take photos along the way. You will have a quick picnic lunch. Later you depart for the Airport and take your flight back home. Meal plan: B, L,-
