Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe You are met at Entebbe Airport and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on your incoming flight, your arrival could be relatively early in the morning, giving you a whole day to explore around Lake Victoria and Entebbe (under your own steam). The Boma is an endearing Entebbe guest house with an African homespun vibe and plenty of character, convenient for the airport. The hospitality is personal which means that it is a sympathetic partner with small tented safari camps.
Day 2
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 2-4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Transfer to the local airport for your scheduled flight to Bwindi (approximately 90 minutes). Here you are met and transferred about 2 hours to your lodge close to the start point for gorilla tracking. In the afternoon, take a forest walk or cultural visit into the local community, which is very welcoming. Buhoma Lodge is a small friendly lodge situated actually in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Buhoma is conveniently located less than 5 minutes walks from the Rangers Headquarters of Bwindi (starting point for the gorilla safaris) so it’s a great base for gorilla tracking. Gorilla trekking would take place on

Queen Elizabeth
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park & Ishasha Today you leave Bwindi and travel about 3 hours to Ishasha, allowing time to stop at the local Ishasha Community project on the way. In the afternoon there will be time to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park on a game drive, hoping to be rewarded with a sighting of the tree-climbing lion, for which this area is renowned. There is a great deal of other wildlife interest to enjoy both out on game drives and in the immediate area round the camp. Ishasha Wilderness Camp is a small and intimate tented camp in the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s leading game reserve. The ten spacious guest tents and main mess tent are set in an idyllic spot on the banks of the Ntungwe River, shaded by riverine woodland.
