This safari starts in Maun in Botswana and ends at Kasane or the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
The service is exceptional: experienced bush cook and assistants for the building up and taking down of the mobile camp. The use of spacious tents with camp beds, mattress, duvet, pillow, towels, soap, anti-mosquito spray, chemical toilet inside and bush toilet and shower en-suite.

Itinerary

Day 1

Moremi

Day 1: Maun - Moremi Arrival in Maun. You will be met by a representative of Mack Air who will hand you over to your pilot for a short flight to the Moremi where your guide will meet you and game drive to camp. Camping.

Day 2

Moremi

Day 2: Moremi Game Reserve After breakfast we start our first morning drive in the Moremi Game Reserve. We enjoy lunch in camp with time for a short siesta and shower. In the afternoon we continue our excursion to discover the rich fauna of this reserve. Arrival in camp after sundown. Camping.

Day 3

Moremi

Day 3: Moremi Game Reserve Early start for our morning game-drive in the park, the best moment of the day to spot predators. We discover the lagoons and waterways of the delta by boat, lunch is a picnic on an island, followed by an afternoon game-drive back to camp. Camping.

Day 4

Day 4: Khwai river ( 70 km – 4 hours ) We leave camp and game-drive towards our newly build camp along the Khwai river, which is a wildlife paradise. During our two day stay here we make game-drives in the area concentrating on the many animals coming here to drink. Camping.

Day 5

Day 5: Khwai river This morning we make an excursion in mokoros ( traditional canoes ) for about 2 hours and game-drive back to camp for lunch. The afternoon game-drive brings us to a beautiful viewpoint for sundown and afterwards we game-drive back to camp in the dark using a spotlight to view the nocturnal wildlife. Camping.

Day 6

Chobe

Day 6: Chobe National Park – Savuti area ( 100 km – 5 hours ) We drive North through the Chobe National Park to arrive in the famous Savuti area, well known for its great concentration of animals and abundant predators. After a first game-drive in the area we arrive in camp for sundown. Camping.

Day 7

Chobe

Day 7: Chobe National Park – Savuti area Morning and afternoon game-drives to discover the wildlife in the area. The big open spaces allow for good viewings and the scenery is captivating. When the Savuti channel is flowing expect big herds of buffalo, elephant, gnoe and zebra. Camping.

Day 8

Chobe

Day 8: Savuti – Chobe river ( 160 km – 5 hours ) We leave our camp team and head North until the Chobe river border. This part of the park is very famous for its huge numbers of elephants who concentrate here to drink. Pic nic lunch and settling in at our lodge. Sundown over the river is spectacular. Lodge DB&B.

Day 9

Chobe

Day 9: Chobe river In the morning we start early and game-drive following the river towards Ngoma looking for animals. Late breakfast and after lunch we make a 3 hour boat trip on the Chobe river, one of the rare chances of seeing swimming elephants. Lodge DB&B.

Day 10

Chobe | Victoria Falls

Day 10: Chobe – Victoria Falls Zimbabwe ( 90 km - 3 hours ) A short drive brings us towards the border with Zimbabwe. After the border formalities you board a mini-bus which brings you to your hotel. After lunch time to visit the famous waterfalls. Hotel B&B.

Day 11

Victoria Falls

Day 11: Victoria Falls – airport ( 20 km – ½ hour ) Morning free for optional activities or just leisure. Transfer to the airport around 11 AM to board the flight back to Johannesburg. Flight back home or to your chosen further destination.
