Day 2: After Breakfast, drive to the Nyungwe Forest national park, stopping over in Nyanza to visit the ancient Rwandan Kings royal palaces, and the Butare National Museum, respectively. - Proceed on to Nyungwe Forest national park, Overnight: Nyungwe Forest Lodge

Day 3

Day 3: - Morning: trekking for Chimpanzees in the Nyungwe Forest national park and The Colobus Monkeys Nature Walks in the Gisakura forest. - Afternoon:- Canopy Walkway, in the Forest. Overnight: Nyungwe Forest Lodge

Day 4

Day 4: After an early breakfast drive alongside Lake Kivu to the resort town of Rubavu via Karongi, the road itself offer panoramic view of the lake and surrounding environs, stops en-route to photograph scenic areas. Overnight: Kivu Serena

Day 5

Day 5: After an early breakfast drive to the RDB office in Kinigi, undergo gorilla trekking registration formalities thereafter you will be assigned a gorilla group to visit. After trekking have lunch at your lodge, afternoon visit the compellingly twin lakes Bulera and Ruhondo Overnight: Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

Day 6

Day 6: After breakfast report to RDB office to undergo formalities for trekking the rare Golden monkey, an endemic species of the blue monkey only found on the eastern rift. You will be allocated a group to visit, enter the forest, thereafter have lunch at your lodge before driving back to Kigali, stops en-route to photograph scenic areas. Overnight: Kigali Serena
