Day 1
Kafue
On this first day, you will have a road transfer from Lusaka airport to Musekese Camp in the Lufupa area of Kafue (5 hours). This is a small seasonal camp, operated by passionate guides. The tents are set in a superb area not far from the Kafue River and multiple lagoons, with no one else around but abundant wildlife. Depending on your arrival time, you may have a first game drive around the camp.

At this remote camp you can enjoy multiple activities such as game drives, bush walks and river safaris. Enjoy an early morning breakfast before going out to explore the wilderness, have lunch in camp before a well deserved siesta, followed by tea before heading out again for the afternoon activity.

Your morning game drive will take you to Kaing’U Safari Lodge in the Central Kafue where you will arrive in time for lunch (about 5 hours). Your home for 3 nights, Kaing’U is an exclusive safari camp with 6 tents on elevated stilts overlooking an absolutely stunning curve of the Kafue River where boulders and small grassy islands populate the river bed.

Whilst relaxing at KaingU, delicious meals and snacks accompany your diverse activity options such as game drives, boat cruises, canoeing, fishing, nature & rock walks, etc. The experience here focuses on absorbing the beautiful surroundings, while learning more about the local wildlife. The attentive staff will discuss your daily routine to suit your needs.

South Luangwa
Morning road Transfer from Kaing'U Safari Lodge to Lusaka Airport (5 hours) for the flight Lusaka-Mfuwe with Proflight (70 min). Arrival in Mfuwe where our driver will collect you at the airport and transfer you to Kafunta River Lodge passing through various villages. Settle in your room and join the team by the fireplace for your first Luangwa sundowner.

South Luangwa
Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for your morning game drive at around 06h30. You will be back at the lodge around 10h00. After an early brunch, relax at the pool, book a spa treatment or enjoy a siesta on your viewing deck before meeting for the afternoon tea at 15h00. The game drive departs at 15h30 and returns at 19h30. Your day will end with a stellar dining experience on the main deck.

South Luangwa
Today you participate on the morning game drive at Kafunta River Lodge. After brunch at the lodge, you will depart for the 2-hour transfer to Three Rivers Camp. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our camp staff before heading on your afternoon activity. Dinner is al fresco with the camp manager and other guests.

Today you will have an early bush walk or game drive followed by an early brunch at the camp, before returning to Kafunta River Lodge. You will be arriving at the lodge around 14h30, and you can relax before joining afternoon tea and the afternoon game drive.

Lower Zambezi
This morning we will transfer you to Mfuwe Airport with an optional stop at Project Luangwa craft shop or Tribal Texiles in time for your flight to Lower Zambezi National Park. This will be the last park on your itinerary. Depending on your arrival time at Chongwe River Camp, you may be able to participate in the afternoon/evening safari.

Here you can choose between many activities such as river safari, sunset cruise, fishing trip, canoe safari, bush walks or game drives. You can try them all or to focus on your favorite one. The routine is the same as in other safari camps and each day ends with a sundowner on the Zambezi River.

Day 15
Today you are flying back to Lusaka. Depending on your flight time, you may have the time for a last morning activity or a sleep in. You will be transferred to the local airstrip in time for your flight.
