Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Pre-trip: Arrival in Uganda Accommodation on the first night will be at The Boma Guest house/Airport guest house in Entebbe.
Day 2
Day 2: Travel to Masindi (via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary) On the way we will stop off at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Guests will have the chance to go on a walking safari and get up and close to these magnificent animals. We will stay at the stunning Masindi hotel one of the historical hotel in Uganda.
Day 3
Murchison Falls
Day 3+4: Early morning drive to Murchison Falls National Park A visit to the top of the Murchison falls is a memorable one before arrival at the hotel. Day three and four will be spent entirely in Uganda’s largest national park where the mighty Nile River flows through a gap of only a few metres. As well as game drives the trip will also take in a boat launch which will allow you unrivalled views of the falls themselves as well as elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. Depending on the time of the day and luck, we may sight the lions and leopards during the game photo safari. Overnight at Paara lodge/ Pakuba lodge.
Day 5
Kibale
Day 5: Travel to Fort Portal (Kibale forest national park). Overnight at Primate lodge/chimpanzee guest house Bandas. Day five sees the safari travel south towards Kibale forest National Park. The drive between Murchison and Kibale forest national parks involves some hours on the road. overnight will spend relaxing at an elegant Primate Lodge within Kibale forest or chimpanzee guest house bandas.

Day 6: Kibale National Park

Kibale | Queen Elizabeth
Days 6 is spent exclusively in Kibale forest national park which supports about 13 species of primates. The 795km2 Kibale National Park contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. This is home to a host of forest wildlife, most famously 13 species of primate including chimpanzee. Forest cover predominates in the northern and central parts of the park on the elevated Fort Portal plateau. Kibale is highest at the park’s northern tip which stands 1590m above sea level. Northern Kibale is also the wettest area, receiving a mean annual rainfall of up to 1700mm, mostly during March-May and September-November. The climate is generally pleasant with a mean annual temperature range of 14-27oC. Temperatures are highest (and rainfall lower) in the south where the terrain drops down onto the hot rift valley floor and forest gives way to open grassland. Southern Kibale adjoins Queen Elizabeth National Park and together these protected areas maintain a 180km long migration corridor for-wildlife which extends from Ishasha, the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, to the Sebitoli forest in the north of Kibale. The Kibale-Fort Portal area is one of Uganda’s most rewarding areas to explore. The park lies close to the tranquil Ndali-Kasenda crater area. One day chimpanzee habituation Experience The Chimpanzee Habituation Experience (CHEX) allows you to search for a community of chimpanzee which is under-going habituation. Habituation is a process whereby wild animals get used to human presence without altering their natural behaviour. This takes a whole day and early visitors may be able to see the spectacular scene of chimps de-nesting between 6:00Am -6:30 am, feeding, copulating, hunting, breast feeding, resting, patrolling and displaying until they build new nests and retire for the night around 7.00 pm. The Habituation experience runs throughout the year. To enjoy this activity, you will need packed lunch, enough water and raingear. Overnight at Primate Lodge within Kibale forest or chimpanzee guest house bandas.
Day 7
Queen Elizabeth
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park.Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. QENP has a number of mammal species and a remarkable 612 species of birds. Residents of the park include elephants, cape buffalo, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, lion, leopard and hyena. The safari will take in a side open boat along the famous Kazinga Channel and drives to photograph the stunning crater lakes. We will spend our time staying in the fabulous Mweya Safari Lodge/queen Elizabeth bush camp.
Day 8
Queen Elizabeth
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth NP - Ishasha Wilderness camp: Sees the safari travel to Ishasha, home to the famous Ishasha Tree Climbing Lions. Ishasha lies 100Km south of the northern sector of QENP and provides a true wilderness experience. At Ishasha, we will stay at the exclusive Ishasha Wilderness Tented Camp/ Ishasha jungle lodge.
Day 9
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 9: Travel to Bwindi. After a morning game drive and lunch at Ishasha Wilderness Camp/Ishasha jungle lodge, the trip will move on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas. After each trek we will be relaxing at the breathtaking Engagi Lodge/silver back lodge.
Day 10
Day 10: Bwindi Day ten will be spent tracking the Mountain Gorillas. As time spent with the gorillas is restricted to only one hour per visit, each primate lover will have the opportunities to visit the gorillas to maximize their chances of getting breathtaking photographs closer with these majestic animals. Overnight at Engagi Lodge/silver back lodge.
Day 11
Lake Mburo
Day 11: Travel to Lake Mburo After a relaxing morning and a chance to rest tired legs, the safari will begin to make its way back to Entebbe. However on the way we will spend the last night at Lake Mburo National Park where photographers will be able to enjoy a game drive as we approach the lodge. The guests will spend the night at the classic Kimbla-Mantana Camp/lake mburo safari lodge.
Day 12
Day 12: Travel to Entebbe Early breakfast, Nature walk and early lunch before proceeding to Entebbe. Evening transfer to the Airport for your return flight Price includes · All entry fees to national parks including activities mentioned in the itinerary. · All transport transfers, full board accommodation, and meals for the duration of the safari. Note: 1 Gorilla permits will be obtained from Uganda Wildlife Authority Gorilla offices in Kampala at a cost of 350 US dollars each during the low season (November, April and –May and 600 USD during the high season. The gorilla permit includes entry fees to the park, guide fee and community levy and government taxes. Due to competition on gorilla visit, the above mentioned amount of money for gorilla permit has to be transferred through the bank as soon as you confirm your trip to secure the place and to avoid inconveniences during the gorilla visit. Chimpanzee habituation experience fee of 220 US dollars per person for kibale has to be paid at the parks head offices in Kampala. Cold weather jacket will be required for some time at night as some parks become cold at night and late evening. Include also light clothes (summer clothes) Temperature here ranges from 18 to 32 degrees centigrade. You will definitely need a jungle boot for forest walk and game safaris.
