Day 1

Arusha

Day 1 Arusha - Arusha National Park You will be picked up in Arusha and driven to to Arusha National Park. This park is about 30km near the big Arusha town. The park's three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania's second highest peak at 4566m), Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago! Do an exciting morning game drive and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen include African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Overnight at Raha Leo Hotel in Arusha. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 2

Tarangire

Day 2 Tarangire After breakfast you will head off to Tarangire National Park. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Later go to Tarangire Public Campsite for your dinner and overnight. 3 meals included.

Day 3

Lake Manyara

Day 3 Lake Manyara After breakfast you will head to Lake Manyara. Have a game drive in the park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others. Later you will drive back to Karatu for your overnight at Panorama Inn. 3 meals included.

Day 4

Serengeti

Day 4 Serengeti After breakfast you will head off to Serengeti National Park. This is undoubtably Tanzania's most famous park. Great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant's gazelle are resident at any time of the year. Lions and leopards easily seen. You will enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the amazing Serengeti. Later in the evening you will drive to your dinner and overnight at Nguchiro Campsite or similar campsite. 3 meals are included.

Day 5

Serengeti

Day 5 Serengeti After breakfast you will venture into Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late evening you will go Nguchiro Campsite for your dinner and overnight. 3 meals included.

Day 6

Serengeti

Day 6 Serengeti After breakfast head out for another game drive in the amazing Serengeti. You cannot see too much of the park. That's just the way it is! About 70 larger mammal and 500 bird species are found there. This high diversity is a function of diverse habitats, including riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands, and woodlands. Blue wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region. Try to spot those lions or leopards! Dinner and overnight at Nguchiro Campsite. 3 meals included.

Day 7

Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family and small mammals. Later drive back to Arusha. Breakfast and lunch included.
