Day 1

Arusha | Tarangire

Day 1 Arusha - Tarangire You will be picked up in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Later you will go to Tarangire Public Campsite for your dinner and overnight. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 2

Lake Manyara

Day 2 Lake Manyara After breakfast you will head to Lake Manyara. Have a game drive in the park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos,hippos, and others. Later you will drive to Panorama Inn in Karatu. 3 meals included.

Day 3

Serengeti

Day 3 Serengeti After breakfast make your way to Serengeti. This is undoubtably Tanzania's most famous park. Great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant's gazelle are resident at any time of the year. Lions and leopards easily seen. You will enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the amazing Serengeti. Then in the evening drive to your dinner and overnight at Nguchiro Campsite. 3 meals included.

Day 4

Serengeti

Day 4 Serengeti After breakfast you will venture into Serengeti's wilderness corners for a full-day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earth's largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late evening you will go to Nguchiro Campsite for rest, dinner and overnight. 3 meals included.

Day 5

Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other animals that you can see include leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. Later you will drive back to Arusha. Breakfast and lunch included.
